The Emerald Door welcomes guests of all identities, backgrounds, and hair types. Our goal is to create a space where everyone feels comfortable, respected, and beautifully themselves. Any hateful, discriminatory, or disrespectful behavior toward our team or other guests will result in refusal of service.

Appointment/ Cancellation Policies: 

At the Emerald Door, each appointment is thoughtfully reserved just for you. In order to provide the best experience for every guest, we kindly ask that you respect the following booking policies. 

Appointment Changes-

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we kindly request at least 24 hours notice.

Late Cancellations-

Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice may result in a 50% service fee or $25 whichever is greater before booking future appointments.

No Shows-

Guests who miss their appointment without notice may be charged 75% of the expected service before booking future appointments.

Late Arrivals-

If you arrive more than 10-15 minutes late, we may need to adjust or reschedule your service to stay on schedule for other guests.

Large & Specialty Services-

Long appointments such as blonding transformations, corrective color, or signature emerald services may require a deposit at the time of booking. Deposits are applied to your service total and are non- refundable if the appointment is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice.

Children & Extra Guests-

Due to limited space, we ask that you do not bring additional guests to your appointment unless previously arranged with your stylist. If your child does have a scheduled appointment, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian remain present for the duration of their service.

 

Service Adjustment Policy: 

At The Emerald Door, we want you to absolutely love your hair. If you feel your service needs a small adjustment we are happy to help! If something about your hair isn't quite right, please contact your stylist within 7 days of your scheduled appointment so we can schedule a complimentary adjustment if appropriate. Adjustments are designed to refine the original service discussed during your consultation. Examples may include minor tonal tweaks or small refinements to a haircut.

Please note:

Adjustment appointments must be scheduled within 14 days of the original scheduled appointment. Requests made after this will be considered a new service.

Changes to the original plan (for example- going darker, lighter, or significantly shorter) are not considered adjustments and will require booking a new appointment.
